Did Kate and Decker make a good pair? Did you enjoy their relationship and romance?

I did enjoy these two. It worked for me that he heard her voice when he was in a coma. The two of them had a lot in common and connected on so many levels.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments I liked them too. They connected in really fundamental ways and their shared experiences just cemented that connection.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) | 52 comments As you buddy readers probably know, I have been critical with the insta lust in some of these books and what I see as the inappropriateness of intimate scenes in the middle of heinous crimes.

Well, in this one I don't feel the same way. Because even though the attraction was instantaneous, Karen Rose does a good job in outlining the personalities of Kate and Decker, how lonely they are and both have the similarity of a traumatic young life and are looking for connection with a like minded person. It worked here for me.
