“Is Baxter a People Too?” is my latest posting for my blog. It is about how much of personhood (a term usually restricted to human beings) do animals have, using my cat Baxter as a prime example. It also addresses the ethical treatment of animals, since the concept of personhood is often used by philosophers and ethicists as to what we owe are fellow human beings in moral terms.
