If you are willing to place one of your October reading choices in the hands of another person, leave a comment here with at least five books and no more than ten from your TBR shelf. Participants need to leave comments no later than Sept 21st(this is earlier than usual due to the fact that I will be out of town for a few weeks starting that weekend so take note of the date, please. Don't want anyone to miss out. :)

Here's how it will work:
Sophia will match people up and leave a comment with a list of who will choose for whom.
When you see the person you are to pick for, then just look at their list in the above comments and leave a new comment with their name and the book you chose for them by September 30th

You also need to watch and see what book your person chose from your list for you.
You have the rest of the month to read the book.

So if this sounds like something you would like to do, just comment below leaving your name and list of book choices for someone to pick your October book.

J. W. Garrett (jeannewallacegarrett) | 1166 comments Woohoo!! This is always so much fun.

1) The Cousins Series [3-Book Box-set] by Jennifer Joy
2) Leaving Bennet Behind Series [Books 1-3] by Sarah Johnson
3) Memory [Books 1-3] by Linda Wells
4) Another Darcy [4-book Bundle] by Jane Grix
5) Darcy and Elizabeth What If? [3 Book Bundles: 1-3, 4-6, & 7-9] by Jennifer Lang
6) A Fair Prospect [Volume l, ll, & lll] by Cassandra Grafton
7) Dearest Friends Collection [2-Books] by Pamela Lynne
8) Denial of Conscience Series [3-books] by Cat Gardiner
9) Elizabeth, Darcy and Me Series [3-Books] by Georgina Young-Ellis
10) Progression [Vol. 1, 2, 3 & ?]: by Jodi L. Covey

In my TBR pile I have several works that are in a series, bundle, box-set, or collection. When you choose one for me, I am obligating myself to read the set. Here is the best part… I am keeping a copy of this list and will continue to submit it, with each new ‘Someone Else Pick It For Me’ month, until I clear out my dusty TBR pile. I am tired of freezing up every time I try to decide where I want to start. It doesn’t matter where we start… in a few months this list… ‘will be back’… sorry, couldn’t help it.

Here is the result of the drawing. Remember, the person listed on the left picks for the name listed to the right. Pick from the person's list in the above comments. Please make your picks by September 30th so we can begin reading right on Oct 1st. Make a new comment with the person's name and the book you picked for them. Oh, and don't forget to check for a comment with the book choice someone else made for you. After your read, drop by and let us know what you thought of your book.

Hi Patricia, So very sorry to bother. Since Sophia might not see this...I believe Jane Austen and the English Landscape is for Abigail? As irony would have it...I read this one before I was on Goodreads. I found it in the Boston Public Library. I'll have to reread it! Cheers!

message 18: by wosedwew (new)

wosedwew | 414 comments Kirk -- you gave me a hard choice because I seldom read JAFF that isn't Regency and I'm not familiar with any of your selections.

I'm going with Aerendgast for you. It looks like it has high ratings.
Hope you enjoy it.
