Universes Unite [Rebooted!] discussion

Chen and Cole's dorm in Niji House. None may enter without their permission.

The room is the size of two bedrooms conjoined and has two sides. Each side has a bed, a desk with a chair, a closet and dresser, and a bedside table. There is a bathroom off to the side.

Aurora preferred low key and private hanging out, so after their typical training session where she once again showed little progress, they went to sit in his room to watch a movie. They'd been getting more comfortable together, too, so she was cuddled against his side. However, the movie was rather boring.

Cole tried his best not to fall asleep, but it was rather impossible when the movie was as interesting as a fly on the wall. Which might have been the wrong comparison but still. He had an arm wrapped around Aurora, the other one drumming against her leg to distract himself.

"Maybe we should try something else," Aurora suggested, recognizing the tapping. It didn't bother her, but she knew it meant he was bored and she didn't want that. "We could give up and watch something else, or we could do something if you don't want to be idle."

“I’ll do whatever you want.” Cole said immediately, glancing down at her and looking absolutely serious. Gods knew there was little he ever wanted to do. She was like… like his breath of fresh air.

Aurora smiled at the immediacy of his answer and looked up to face him. And that smile turned a little more bold and eager as she leaned up and kissed him, shifting into a better position for it. She liked physical affection, beyond just kissing. Even his holding her was enough, but she frequently found herself wanting more.

Cole watched her as the idea flashed through her mind, and he didn’t really move when she leaned in to kiss him. It took a brief moment but he returned the kiss, raising a hand to her cheek to pull her closer. Whatever she wanted, he’d do without protest or anything in his mind other than making her happy.

When the kiss was returned, Aurora shifted into his lap, straddling his waist in a rare show of confidence. She'd wanted this for a while now and just hoped she didn't move too fast or make it awkward. Even if this was as far as they went she could be content. Especially if it lasted a while.

Cole pulled her closer to himself, hand sliding over her leg before hooking behind her knee to pull her even closer. The more they kissed, though, the more tired he grew. The more his eyes were fighting for their life to stay open.

Aurora smiled a little into the kiss when he pulled her closer. And she could feel him relaxing which was a good sign, right? She obviously didn't know and didn't put too much thought into it. She moved her kisses to his jaw before trailing down his neck.

Cole closed his eyes, allowing himself to enjoy this, before… before he was gone. His hands loosened their hold on her legs, and his breath turned more even. Much more than they had even before.

Aurora paused when his hold on her relaxed completely because that didn't seem right. Her confusion changed to something worse when she picked up her head and realized he'd fallen asleep. Mortified, she pulled away to make sure she was correct. "Cole?" She tried, but realized he was out cold. How did something like that even happen? Truly the only word for it was mortifying. Embarrassed beyond belief, she grabbed up her things and headed back to her own room. Sure she knew he was probably tired and she was glad he could be comfortable enough to rest with her...but this was something else entirely.

Coles dreams were rarely ever something he could really make sense of, but this one seemed to be a lot stranger than the others. He saw himself running through the woods, in human form rather than that of an animal, and…. There was a woman. Or something like that, he didn’t know. But he ended up waking up sometime near midnight, and he sent Aurora a quick text to apologize before he got properly ready for bed.
