I have recently discovered Marshall Thornton's Boystown series, and James Lear's The Back Passage. I really love that these books feature main characters who engage in casual explicit sex and the books still have actual plots. I also found The Fathom's Five series (The Riddle of the Sands) to kind of meet this same pattern, although with multiple main characters.

I've been trying to find more recommendations like this, but I haven't found many- I was hoping this group might have more recommendations for me!

I asked in another group and was recommended Bourbon Street Blues, which I'm going to check out.
