Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Books discussion

If so, what are your thoughts? I'm looking for books with in depth almost academic look at the economic and technology side of things.

Also currently reading The History of Money and The Ascent of Money by an anthropologist and economist respectively.

Haven't finished AoC yet, but it is a great read. More technical and market-impact oriented than say Digital Gold. If you want a technical treatment you should really pick up "Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies: A Comprehensive Introduction." It's a textbook, but it does not read like one at all.

The Ascent of Money is a great read.
