The Signature of All Things question

I am not in a group, but I loved the depth and richness of,the this book. I read it ages ago and have forgotten the names of the main protagonists yet their story is memorable. It was so well written and quirky it could have been a biography,of a real person. It’s a book written with insight and sensitivity
