The title refers to both the method of how George Irving fell to his death and the Delayed Retirement Option Program. What's the significance of both to the story?

Yeah, they call the way he fell without an attempt to break his fall a drop.

I thought the title clever for the story.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments It also refers to the drop of blood from Hardy's belt found on Lily Price. I liked the symbolism of it all.
