Read-Along With Me discussion

In this game someone comments a wish that they have, but the next person must spoil the wish then add their own wish for the next person to corrupt!

Example:

1st person: I wish that I could finish my assignment.
2nd person: Granted, but you got all the answers wrong and ended up receiving 0% on the assignment paper.

First person to comment starts!

I wish I had a cat.

Granted! However the cat you have now is completely loopy and eventually bites off your head.

I wish to have mind reading abilities.

granted but now you go to a desert and theres camels everywhere and you can read the minds of camels and they poo all the time so you know what I mean

I wish to be able to buy however many books I want, whenever I want them.

Granted! Now you have too many books in your living quarters; it is overflowing with books. You are forced to sleep on hardcovers and use paperbacks as pillows. In a desperate attempt to make more space for more books, you cook books that are too old and eat them for all your meals. You are spending too much money renting several spaces to store all your books. Your car is made out of books. Your clothes are recycled extra paperbacks. You have turned into a book. There is still not enough space for all of your books. There is no hope.

I wish... I could heal anyone who is sick.

Granted, but know their pain ends up going onto you until you find a way to release it from your body.

I wish I could time travel.

Granted, but on a visit to the Neanderthal times, you accidentally bring and lose your cell phone, thus completely altering the history of human development. You and all other humans cease to exist.

I wish I could be more athletic.

Granted: but then a swarm of crocodiles attacks your cabin and destroys it.

I wish I could live forever.

Granted, but you will have to live with insane minds.

I wish I had an elder sister.

Granted, but your elder sister is extremely spiteful and selfish (think Cinderella's stepsisters). She speaks to you only to insult you or give you orders, and leaves her family completely the second she comes of age.

I wish I was better at math.

Granted but you're teacher will suspect you are cheating and fail your tests.

I wish I were prettier

Granted, but, becoming more of something makes you less of something else (to balance it out). So, you are less knowledgable.

I wish I had a better singing voice.

Granted, but you enjoy performing with your newly improved voice until your vocal cords are strained beyond repair and you now sing worse than you did before.

I wish I could enter a book world of choice and live there.

Granted, but you can never escape

I wish global warming ended.

Granted but when swimming with the mermaid you drown.

I wish I could fly

Granted, but your lack of control sends you face first into an airplane.

I wish work would go by faster.

Granted, but by making work go fast, your life follows suit and before too long, you have died of old age.

I wish by reading books you burnt calories.

Granted, but every minute you don't read books, you gain calories.

I wish... I would never have to tie my shoes (!?)

granted! but now your feet will smell super bad

i wish i could move objects with my mind

Granted, but when you sleep you can't control your mind so every time you wake up, everything is in a horrible mess.

I wish I could play any instrument without learning how to.

Granted, but learning doesn't mean you'll be any good at it.

I wish I lived next to a library so I can get books when ever I want.

Granted, but the library catches fire (since there's so many books in it) and the fire spreads to your house.

I wish I could go to space.

Granted, but the library is tiny and only has a limited selection of books in all the genres you dislike.

I wish I wouldn't need to sleep to have energy so I could get more done.

Granted but because you got everything done so quickly there was nothing for you to do so you suffered boredom and you never slept this making you go crazy.

I wish i had magic

Granted but everything you wish for, the opposite happens or it goes wrong.

I wish I can be the fastest runner in my grade.

Granted but but you can never stop running. Ever.

I wish I was taller

Granted, but you become so tall that your head ends up reaching up into space, and you die of no oxygen.

I wish I was a boy (? I don't know, interested to see what would corrupt it)

Granted, but you will be cut down the same day you turn, and be constructed into fire wood, and not only will you be slaughtered, you will also be burned (aha, so cruel)

I wish my body would shave by itself, where I want, when I sleep.

Granted! But while you sleep your dreams are taken over by the mind of a very evil person who hates you and they make you want to shave your eyebrows and hair.

I wish... I could know when someone had a crush on me

Granted, but you feel bad because you don't like them.

I wish I was an opera singer.

Granted, but everyone else is able to know who you have a crush on.

I wish I had more money.

Haha I think Jess and Kaitlyn both answered to Amee, so I'll answer to both of yours (:

@Jess: Granted, but after a few shows a younger, better singer comes along and everyone completely forgets about you.

@Kaitlyn: Granted, but the bank you put your money in is robbed so badly that your money cannot be returned, and you're now poorer than you were to start with.

I wish I could write better poetry.

@Connie... granted, but no one would like to read poetry as you will have terrible handwriting.

Granted! The person who goes by the name 'Anyone' won't corrupt your wishes. But everybody else will.

I wish... uh... I get into Harvard when I graduate high school?

Granted! But the intense workload and stress of being surrounded by some of the nation's best students gets to you, and you quit after a semester.

I wish to have a novel I wrote published and for people to like it.

Granted! But your next novel stinks so much that people forget about you

I wish I could buy as many books as I wanted!

Granted, but then you cause a never-ending snow storm all around the world by accident...and everyone freezes into an ice block

I wish I was a master cello player :)

Granted, but since you gain a great skill, you also gain a great flaw, which is your extreme clumsiness. From breaking your arms to breaking your cello, you run into so many other issues that no one knows how adept you are at playing.

I wish I could read faster (yet still understand everything in the book) so I could get more books read!

Granted but while being there a tsunami happens and washes away the island and everyone there

Granted but then you find out that u can not see in the light

I would love to live in the woods in a cabin

Granted- but when you get there, your rocket breaks down and you can't come back

I wish I could go to the beach

Granted. But you can never come down from the rainbow

I wish I could eat without gaining weight

Granted. While you put on fat, your muscles deteriorate so that your weight is balanced out and never changes. Soon enough, your muscles are useless and you spend the rest of your life severely decapitated.

I wish I was more flexible.

Granted, but every time you do the splits (etc), you break a bone in your body.

I wish for world peace

Granted, but everyone is so peaceful that when something wrong happens, no one dares to take a stand, and the world becomes a strange state of peaceful chaos.

I wish my hair wouldn't tangle.

Granted, so now you are bald.

I wish people were nice most of the time, instead of some of the time.

Granted but police, lawyers, court systems, militaries, politicians,advertising companies all go out of business ruining the global economy and leavening people jobless.
