Clayton Not really a cowboy, sorry. I live in the Evergreen State. What up? Started to pick up reading again about a year ago. Last time I actually sat down and read a book before then was when I was about 12. So I've been super rusty. You guys seem like a cool clique.

Hi Clayton! We are cool. What are you reading now? A few of us are reading White Noise. Seems like an okay book so far, it is a quick read at only around 300 pages so not a long book.

Welcome!

Clayton Just finished Red Rising last night. Awesome book! I was gonna start reading a new one I got the other day called The Girl With All the Gifts. I'll scope out White Noise though. I should also mention that before Red Rising, I read Hollow City which is a sequal to Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children. Both those books are my #1 favorite.

Hey Clayton, welcome. The concept for Miss Peregrine's Home looks interesting.

The next book we decided on was Portnoy's Complaint by Philip Roth.

Clayton @Hayley Yes it's the one by Pierce! It's super good! It was a little hard for me to keep up with all the character names, places, and made up words used to describe things though. I'm not used to reading books like that. But it's good. It's all good.

@Chris Thanks for the heads up! I'll scope it out and see if I can get my hands on a copy from the library or something. You should definitely give Miss Peregrine a try. I convinced one of my friends to read it and not only did she love it but she's got her whole family reading it now too! Haha!
