Sophia blinked her eyes which were blurry, and looked around at a bright sun blinding her. Where was she? She looked down, and found she was in water, and clutching something. She was holding it so tight her knuckles her white. It was her small red plastic box, which was helping her float. She gave a small scream, knowing the water could eat her, and squeezed the box even tighter. As the ocean's waves pushed her closer to the shore, she closed her eyes. We all. Fall. Down. She thought, as the water pushed her.
Alex woke up floating underwater and he quickly swam up breaking through the surface and coughing then he looked around and held back an yell of horror as bodies floated past him and he tried his best not to freak out as he looked around.

Sophia kicked, and swam closer to the woman. "You're not one of them." She says softly watching the woman. "You're crying. That means you're okay." She gave a small smile. "They're coming to get me, I had to check." After that, she grabbed, the suitcase the woman was holding on to, and pulled the two of them closer to shore. "Are you okay?" She asked softly, staring at the shore, which was not far off.
Esme opened her eyes her eyes and her vision became blurry and she realized she was in the water. She gasped for air and went to the surface screaming and kicking. She looked around and she felt pain as she stood up.
Alex managed to stay above the surface as his vision flickered black then normal but he ignored it as he looked around, trying to clear his head and remember what had happened

Esme looked around and screamed when she saw all the blood and floating bodies. She looked around and shook the water from her hair. She noticed some other people alive and slowly started to walk.
Sophia tilted her head slightly, and helped the woman up onto the shore as the reached it. "You're having a baby? Is.. she or he okay?" She pulled her little suitcase on land and opened it up, pulling out a small kerchief, holding it out to the lady. "Curiouser and curiouser!" She mutters softly, as she looks around.

"An Alison fan? You mean like Alice from The Book?" She opens her suitcase again, pulling out her Alice in Wonderland book. She put it back and sat on the sand, watching a big bug crawl up her leg. it was red, and it just stared at her with beady eyes. "Oh look!" She says excitedly, reaching down to pet it.
Monica held on to a plane wing and had a deep cut on her forehead and then she saw people from the wreck on shore. She said a prayer and swam to the shore to treat the rest of the passengers with injuries since she was a medical student at Yale.
Esme opened her eyes. Her vison was blurry and she looked down and realized she was in the water. She kicked her way to the surface gasping and screaming.
Alex had his eyes closed when he almost fell off the box that he was sitting on, hearing an scream come from near him and he looked around and saw an girl that looked around the same age as him and screaming so he got off the box and ended up in the water again and swam next to her then murmured "Don't scream. Everything is alright." as he passed her an life raft that was floating nearby
She breathed heavily coughing out water. Then nodded and slowly crawled on the raft. She shivered and wrapped her arms around herself. Esme had no idea how to swim and stayed on the raft because her life depended on it.
As Monica was coming towards the shore, she heard screaming coming from a girl near her and a boy that seemed to be her age was there and he looked pretty cute too. She swam towards them and said, " Don't worry I'm a medical student! Are you injured?"
Alex stayed in the water with his arms on the raft but kept his feet kicking so he didn't overturn the raft and make the girl fall back into the water. He wiped the water off his face and moved his hair out of his eyes so he could see, looking at everything with violet eyes
Esme touched her head and realized blood was trickling down it. " I-I might have injured my head and my shoulder feels bruised up and sore!" She coughed again spitting out saltwater.
Monica examined the girl,"You cut your forehead like I did, but it shouldn't be a problem and for your shoulder, it is definitely bruised and should get better as well." She turned to the boy and said,"Are you injured too?"
Alex didn't say anything as he closed his eyes and leaned his forehead against his arms, still kicking his feet. He was feeling tired but didn't dare fall asleep even though he wanted to.
Esme hugged her legs and closed her eyes. She didn't know how to swim and was scared of the water. She whimpered thinking about it and her throat was sore from swallowing up so much ocean water.
Esme looked at Alex, " Are you okay?" " I could always get off and try to swim.." She said trying to sound brave and because she had no clue how to swim but he did seem tired..
Alex shook his head and said softly "I'll be okay. Just a little tired." He didn't want her to try swimming with him sitting on the raft since he thought that would be messed up
She nodded stiffly still closing her eyes. Esme absolutely hated the water! She used to be on the swim team when she was 12 but then one drowning accident at the beach and she was never the same again. Esme bit her lip, the plane crashed and they were stuck on this strange island without food.
Sophia looked up at the woman who she'd gotten to land with. "Look! My new pet!" She grinned and pet the giant bug, which was now digging into her skin. As soon as her finger had touched it though, the bug bit her, hard, and she screamed, yanking her arm out. "It bit me!" She mumbled, tears springing to her eyes. "It hurts a lot." She looks at her finger, but the tears blocked her from seeing it clearly. Her schizophrenia made her even more freak out. "I'm going to die! Someone help me!" She started crying softly.
Monica rushed over to another girl and found that she was bit the a spider and the bite wasn't that big. She was imagining that the bite was big. "Your bite is ok, I will just wash the blood off. She turned to the woman and said," I see that your pregnant, how is your baby after this plane crash?"

Sophia quieted down, trying to stop crying. She started dipping it in the water, wincing at the sting it gave. After lifting it out, she stared at the bite, transfixed by the blood, and bite.

After thinking happy thoughts, Alex relaxed and calmed down then opened his eyes and looked around
Monica patched up wounds of two girls today, one who seemed to be hydrophobic and the other who had a big imagination. Monica realized we were on the plane together and survived together as well. She looked at the pregnant girl and thought that if the baby came she could looked after the baby and get practice in pediatric surgery.
Esme quickly got of the raft and to land. She looked around and saw other survivors.
Alex walked onto land and sat down on an broken plane wing. He looked around at everyone else and he sighed since his cloths were all soaked but he didn't think of it much as he looked at the ocean
" Not your typical day at the Beach.." Esme mumbled rolling her eyes and shivered.
"Yea, tell me about it." Monica as she got her suitcase on land. "I'm Monica."
She smiled, " I'm Esme!" " Thanks for helping me with my injuries."
"Oh your welcome! I'm a medical student but soon to be pediatric surgeon." Monica said as Esme was really nice and reminded her of the Twilight series a little bit.
" Well, I'm a psychologist student but I do like interior designing and gardening so I might have a degree in something besides psychology.." Esme mused.
Alex listened to them talk though he didn't feel an need to talk or join in. He just looked at his hands and messed with his snakebites on his bottom lip with his finger.
Esme looked around and whimpered when she saw floating dead bodies.
Alex tried his best not to look at the bodies as he messed with one of his snakebites. He would just end up crying which he did not want to do or at least show that he was.
Tears welled up in her eyes when she saw those bodies. Esme didn't know them but she felt sorry for them and it wasn't fair that she was alive and they are dead and gone.
Alex took an deep breath then looked at the bodies in the water and watched them float when he thought one of them looked like his mother and he started to panic in the inside
She looked at him, " Hey, are you sure your alright?"
Alex didn't answer as he stared at the body then he looked away and held his face in his hands, trying hard not to cry or to let it show that he was starting to freak out
Esme glanced at him feeling sorry and walked towards him then sat down. She wiped a few stray tears of her face. She wasn't afraid to cry in front of anyone. Esme wrapped her arms around her legs and rested her chin on top of them then sobbed quietly.
