Max Cavanaugh suggested that Monique and Lauren’s evil natures were inherited through bloodline. How do you feel about that nature versus nurture argument?

There are plenty of people who have a terrible upbringing yet seem to turn out okay, so I think there is part of a nature element here. It feels like there must have been something wrong with both Monique and Lauren as I sensed that they didn't feel compassionate or loving towards anyone.

I don’t subscribe to genetic passage of evil genes but do believe there could be biological factors that impact behavior. Monique was truly evil; Lauren just participated in risky behaviors. They may have shared a biological trait affecting impulse but Lauren just didn’t come across as evil.
