We Have Always Lived in the Castle By Shirley Jackson Narrated By Bernadette Dunne
Mister B. GoneBy Clive Barker Narrated By Doug Bradley

The IT narrator was Steven Weber, evidently, and according the the AFM review, he was as great as you said Shanna_redwind. Here's the review: http://bit.ly/2yFLG9q
Linda, when I have recovered from Strange WEATHER, I may try NOS4R2, since it's another Joe Hill, and read by Kate Mulgrew. Then again..
MissSusie, dare I admit that I never read anything by Shirley Jackson other than THE LOTTERY? Thank you for knowing of an audio version of another piece of her writing.

That made me laugh, Rick B! (This is Aurelia) Even though I'm easily scared, stupid is way worse than scary.
I've been dealing with a leaking roof in our very old family manse for the last couple of days. Scary in its own panic-making way. Anyone have a scary audiobook about water in all the wrong places?

An excellent suggestion! I LOVED that book, and have been disappointed that it has had nearly no buzz. VERY scary!

I've just release the audio version of Treaters, my post-apocalyptic survival horror. I know I'm a little late for Halloween(even though the book kicks off on Halloween night), but I hope it's okay to share here.
"They never hunt alone, and these things rule the night!"
When the world ends on Halloween night, Jaz, a retired US Marine thinks it’s all over.
His friends, his family…they’re gone.
He’s alone, and on the run from the slaughterhouses of the cities.
On his desperate dash to the desolation of North Dakota, Jaz encounters Jennifer, and together they escape to the wilderness, and safety.
As Jaz and Jennifer come to terms with the fact they may be the last two people alive, they realize the attack on Halloween night was just the beginning, and safety was a foolish dream.
Something more sinister is at work, and it's coming for them.

I'll start. I'm easily scared, so I don't have many to suggest. But given AudioFile's rave review (http://bit.ly/2zxBNXW ) I did listen to STRANGE WEATHER by Joe Hill (sometimes with my eyes closed as if that would protect me), and once I recovered, I thought it was great.
