Dennis Meredith (dennismeredith) | 141 comments Today a friend in Houston emailed me to tell me he has sent in the form to his local library to ask them to please order copies of our book, The Happy Chip. I thought what a wonderful idea, and that I have to share it with you. I plan to post on Facebook and elsewhere asking my contacts to please send in requests to their local libraries asking them to order our books.
I plan to pick a couple of members of this book club and do that for their books. I will do it infrequently so as not to be a pest at my local library. Anyone else interested in paying this forward?

Tell me what you need- I'm game.

I planning another mailing that I am doing to bookstores and libraries out west. I will do a flyer for the group- Who would like to be on it?

Helen (helenpicca) | 48 comments Is this the flyer that Brittany posted about? I've already responded on that post. If not, please count me in, since I live out west, I'd love to get greater exposure to readers.

I just requested your book to the Port Orford, OR library. If you'd like to return the favor, my book is "The Last Frontier of the Fading West."

--when you tell people to request your book in their libraries, should you give them a form (sell sheet?) as well, or just the plain details of title and ISBN?

Our local library has a form that people must complete when they request a book. You might want to pick up a few of those for your friends and save them the trouble. That way, they can complete the form before taking it in (or before you deliver it for them, if that's even prudent).
