Cupcakes: A Quick Explanation
Rest assured, for those of you familiar with me and my many cupcakes, for Scrabble there will only be ONE type of earn-able cupcake, the

By completing various puzzles your Team will earn these yummy treats. The number to be earned will be indicated before the Puzzle #.
Only one member of your Team needs to post or mail a correct puzzle to earn your cupcakes; however, some puzzles a Team may choose to work together, in their Private Group.
Plus, if anyone wants to do one just for fun - even if not a part of the Scrabble Team Challenge - they are welcome to do so.
Some puzzles are okay to post in thread (view spoiler) and some need to be mailed (view spoiler) to me, Captain Cupcake, for review (so no one else sees the solution). If mailing, send to ratminichallenges@gmail.com with Puzzle # in subject line. Be sure to tell me what Team you are assigned.
A certain number of puzzles done each week will earn you the privilege of keeping one of your designated letters for a future week.
We are keeping a Scrabble Cupcake Spreadsheet to track all cupcakes earned.

Slider Puzzles - This will start out easy and get harder as the challenge goes on. Okay to post in thread. Please take a screen print and show the “Very good, you win.” box.~ Type of Puzzles ~
Acceptable Posting
ExampleJigsaw Puzzles - For Jigsaws, take a screen print and make sure it show the type and number specified. We like to see your time, too, just for fun. These start out easy and get progressively harder as the challenge continues.

This jigsaw is pretty easy.
Some might call it “breezy.”
Certainly won’t make you queasy.
Unlike this poem, which is a bit cheesy.

On all future jigsaw puzzles be sure you have the right cut of puzzle selected. Notice in pic below I have circled the cut in blue ("20 piece classic"). The red circle indicates how to change the cut.

With slider puzzles we're doing a “summer movies” theme.
With lots of cupcakes for you to redeem.
We’re posting early the movie Blue Crush.
But really, you have a while, no rush.Puzzle #2 - Slider: Blue Crush HERE!

Great, ShoSho! For everyone on a Team, we need a picture indicating your time.

Go from bottom to top, it matters not.
In that regard, there is no “ought.”
So, let’s start out slow with the Doublet fun.
Goes toward saving a letter, when done!

Please DO NOT post solution here. Mail to ratminichallenges@gmail.com With Puzzle # in subject line. Be sure to tell me what Team you are assigned, though I have most of you memorized!
Doublets are word-link puzzles first created by Lewis Carroll. Changing only one letter at a time, and using the clues along the side, go from “John” to “Jane”... or vice versa!
- JOHN
- link; connect
- a flat, round piece of metal with an official stamp, used as money
- direct the steering of (a ship)
- solid or hollow object that tapers from a circular base to a point
- hollow, jointed stem of a tall grass
- JANE

You can still send and post solutions if you want to check if they are correct. ☺

Lovely name! How do you pronounce that? :P
Size is fine as long as I can see what cut it is. You're good. ☺

**hee hee** Just looking...
BTW, ZYZZYVAS is a play on Divas.

FOFLMBO! I'm sure it has already been thought. "LK is loosing her mind."

As long as Mr. Elf doesn't join the conversation, there is nothing to worry about. :P
BTW, I don't think I had the pleasure of meeting him.
*checks herself in mirror in case he stops by*

Hi Mr. Elf *blushes*
Nice to meet you. I'm such a huge fan! I've always admired your... way of handling things in this group.
I have something for you...

Sure , why not?
In exchange for cupcakes , I give free mouth to mouth!!

LOL! Uh oh. We might get bombarded.

Well, I'm sorry, but if you want more cupcakes, you'll have to solve those puzzles.
It wouldn't be fair to others, you know. What would happened if others also offer mouth-to-mouth in exchange for cupcakes?! I'd never have time to bake them all!

Nothing! Absolutely nothing!
I mean, there is nobody here! At all!
Why do you ask?!

P.S. Aren't you wearing disguise , my dear Captain Cupcake?
