Hey everyone 😃 I would like to read Midnight at the Bright Ideas Store by Matthew Sullivan. It is getting four and five star reviews. I wouldn't mind reading a Stephen King book too, that guy is prolific. Also I am planning to read the estate series by Mel Sherrett. It's cheap on Amazon now. There's a few to get the ball rolling 😃

The last Nicci French in the Freida Klein series is due out soon too. Sad it's coming to an end 😥

Im doing fine, just come back from a holiday, so ready for new books to read. These suggestions sound interesting. Reading snow by orhan pamuk presently, very good. Will be watching out for the last in the nicci french series, have really enjoyed them. Hope it is on netgalley, i am totally addicted to that site now, thanks to the advice on this group.

Went on a cruise around the bay of biscay, went to 2 places in france and 2 in spain. Weather was lovely and warm. Got to go to guernica and santiago de compostella which were both bucket list.

I think Tracy mentioned a Stephen King book. Could I put 11.22.63 by Stephen King as my choice? I have heard good things about it.

Hol sounds idyllic Dee. That book is a gem Reddraggon. Nice series made of it too. A few changes made to the TV series.

Any suggestions for Annabel’s choice this time? There are a few classics that I’m interested in reading but also easy with the choice.

Annabel mentioned Tess of the D'Urbervilles a couple of times...could be a possibility. Love Hardy.

I have been thinking of christmas ideas, and have come up with 'the night before christmas' by Gogol; 'the nutcracker' by eta hoffmann; or 'the gift of the magi' by o'henry. They are all short but are on kindle.

I’m happy with any of those.

I’ve read the gift of the magi one but I’ll pick up the other two.

Don’t forget your second choice for the year for those that haven’t picked yet. Plus we have two bonus Christmas books this year that I’ll add once I get online. Can’t do the add with the phone app.

Even if you don't feel like reading yourself you are more than welcome to pick a book. So do any other members if they are reading this.

In that case, I'd like to go for 1984. I can put in an alternate pick if you and Dee have read it recently enough not to want to re-read it (I was also looking at The Rook).

Not read it so I'm ok with that. Sadly my school didn't do any of the classics so I've missed out on so many. I will add the two now. We can always remove the second if we get a run of suggestions.
