Woman, 22, died when boy, 12, jumped from bridge ‘in suicide bid’

A woman was killed when a suicidal 12-year-old boy jumped from a bridge over a US highway onto her car. Marisa W Harris, 22, died at the scene when the boy, who is not being named, fell onto her Ford Escape yesterday afternoon. The impact of the boy landing on the vehicle incapacitated Marisa and a front seat passenger, believed to be her boyfriend, steered the vehicle onto the hard shoulder. They were driving east along Interstate 66 in Fairfax County, northern Virginia, at around 4.18pm. State police spokeswoman Corinne Geller said in a statement that the passenger was unhurt but the boy suffered life-threatening injuries.

Put all of your energy into this. You must write a pretend news article.

It could be a main story
It could be a showbiz
You could add your fake 60 seconds page
You might talk about Travel, Home, Scene, Trends, Connect or Sports.
You might add some puzzles.
It could be in the theme of Metro or Manchester Evening News or BBC News.

What ever you like.

Hundreds of drivers who spent the night stranded on the main route between Scotland and England have resumed their journey. Traffic Scotland said it was an improving picture with vehicles moving, albeit slowly.

Roberta Chai (Lady with so many stories) | 10 comments More than 220 people have been killed and 843 injured after a tsunami hit coastal towns on Indonesia's Sunda Strait, government officials say. The tsunami waves struck at night without any warning, destroying hundreds of buildings. Officials say the tsunami could have been caused by undersea landslides after Anak Krakatau volcano erupted. The Sunda Strait, between the islands of Java and Sumatra, connects the Java Sea to the Indian Ocean.
