This book deals with general relativity and quantum mechanics. These 2 theories are the best theories that we have to describe the natural world. General Relativity deals with gravity, and quantum mechanics relates to atoms and subatomic particles. The goal of the authors career is uniting these theories into quantum gravity. Quantum gravity is a field of physics that is trying to unite these theories because they both work exceptionally in our daily lives, from computers and electronics to natural phenomena. It also explains loop quantum gravity, and the problem it faces. The problem is that time is not a variable in the equations, which is not true in the world. It also describes the history of physics and the people that advanced the sciences. I would rate this book an 8/10 so far, and I would recommend this book to someone who is interested in quantum mechanics, general relativity, loop quantum gravity, and quantum gravity.
