Celebrate the Author & Pick a Genre will both be ending in December. Shall we continue with both ( in 2018) or shall we try something different?

message 6: by Linda C (new)

Linda C (libladynylindac) | 988 comments I like both of these tasks. They expose me to authors and genres I may not usually read in, but still include room for choice.

Amber’s Bookish Journal (introverted22) | 53 comments I agree with Linda. Although I am up for trying anything new. Maybe doing a Cover Color challenge for each month...just a thought.

message 8: by Book Concierge (new)

Book Concierge (tessabookconcierge) | 734 comments I like reading about the authors ... and I've added to my tbr ... but I almost never get the month's author read .

I do like Amberly's suggestion of a cover-related challenge. Color is good. So is a particular object.

message 9: by Bethany (new)

Bethany | 331 comments I like the genre challenge because I can step outside of what I usually read a bit, but still find something I enjoy. I can't really do the same with the author challenge.
I also like the idea of the color challenge for the same reason.

message 10: by Amber (new)

Amber (arboan) | 760 comments I agree with everyone. I really like the genre challenge. I like the author challenge but don't always find a book I am interested in reading for all authors. I really like Amberly's idea of color challenge.

Sorry everyone, I wasn't feeling well and I got my dates mixed up. I closed it too soon thinking it was already the first. The completed thread is now re-open and will remain open for two days. If anyone couldn't get their points in during the mix up. Please do so now.

Again, sorry for the mix-up. :(
