Discuss book four of The Mists of Avalon here

A pretty stromg finish to this one. Lots of action and resolution. Bradly made sure that all loose ends were tied up. It was this section that made it a 4 star book for me.

It took me longer than I thought it would, but I finished yesterday. It took me a while to really get into the story, I don't know if I can blame the story itself or the holiday distractions of the past two months. Overall, I give it a strong 4 stars.
Now my question is if any of the other books are worth reading! Just curious, especially about The Forest House.

All right... That took me longer than planned... Wow, but the last part was so good! It finally all came together just when I was thinking: "Where is it all going and what could possibly still happen other than death to all..."

I think it is very interesting how differently I experienced this book now from when I read it in my late teens. World experience probably tainted it all somewhat ;-) Also, indeed at one point I found it difficult not to let the background information on the writer cloud my opinion.

Glenda I think you could certainly go read the other books too! I did so last time around, and if I hadn't such a whole stack of books-to-be-read haunting me I probably would turn them again now.

Thanks Jessica, I'll add them to my ever-growing want-to-read list! Like you, I have so many on my to-read bookcase it may be a while before I could get to them.

Some of the other books in the series are prequels, which might affect your desire to read them.
