Tiffany (neuroticfitchmom) | 1 comments I'm on year two of doing this. I read lots of other stuff in between but I'm currently on Dolores Claiborne.

Ashleigh Garner (bioshockher) | 1 comments Heads up, Joyland wasn't very good :\ it felt like nothing happened.

Kaylee (kaylee-sophia) I wanted to start reading it or sleeping beauties but can I do that or should I wait until I read the rest?

Tammy Kesteloot (tammyk673) | 2 comments For 2018 I am hoping to read a few more of his titles. I don't know If I will read them in order though... I want to... but then there are a few of his I have more interest to read than others. My tentative goal is to try and read... Salem's Lot, The Shining & The Stand in 2018... but I am alo feeling the itch to read Firestarter, Thinner & Gerald's Game

Charlene | 1 comments For the month of February I plan to read It for the first time. Then I plan to watch the latest edition of the movie. I read a lot of Stephen King when I was probably to young to read Stephen King. So, I am starting over.

Side note: I have been reading his book "On Writing". Its an easy and hilarious read. I enjoy reading about his writing process.

How are you guys going with the challenge? Which Stephen King books have you read so far? Have you been reading them in order (it's totally okay if you haven't been!) So far I've read IT, Carrie, Salem's Lot and The Shining and now I'm onto Rage!
So far my favourite has been The Shining! Danny is such a great character :)

message 8: by Rachel (new)

Rachel I can't find Rage so I'm starting with Night Shift (1978) I've already read a lot of King's early work, I agree Danny is one of my favorite Stephen King characters :)

Owen | 2 comments Rachel, buy an old copy of the Bachman Books (a collection of the first four Bachman books that includes Rage) off of EBay. I got one for about 20 dollars from there so it’s pretty affordable. Remember to buy an older copy. Newer copies of it don’t include Rage.

Owen | 2 comments April, you have an error with the order of publication. Night Shift was published before The Stand, not after. Night Shift in February of 1978 and The Stand in September of 1978.

Rachel Thanks! I will check out ebay

Jade Spicer | 3 comments Check out Abebooks as well, Rachel! I got my copy of Bachman Books including Rage, super cheap on there 😊

message 13: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Thanks! I found a copy of the Bachman collection for around 9 including shipping.

Brian Thompson | 1 comments I have read Stephen King on and off for about 30 years. Currently on the fourth book of the Dark Tower, Wizard and Glass. I am going to start reading King books in order that I have not read in between finishing the Dark Tower Series. I have read Carrie and The Shinning last summer, just ordered Salem's Lot. I am debating on rereading the Stand when I get to that point, I read it over 20 years ago, thoughts?
