I'm happy to announce that Teresa Carrigan, one of our most active members has agreed to help with the moderator duties for the group. I will still be helping, at least for a while, but I believe Teresa will bring some valuable insight and excitement to the moderator team. She's really much more knowlegeable about Space Opera than I am, and is more widely read in SO and SciFi.

Please join me in welcoming Teresa to the team.

Marc V. (marc_v) Addendum : I forgot to mention that I do most of my reading / listening by audio books; as an artist I spend hours working on my art and always have a book playing in the background, often I can listen to at least 4-5 books a month.

When it comes to Audio books would you prefer the Author to read his/her own book or a "professional"?

If you want to start a discussion about audiobooks, feel free. However, could you do it in a separate thread, perhaps in the Reader Discussions folder. It has nothing to do with the topic of this thread, so people are unlikely to be able to find it easily.

In fact, I'm going to close this thread, at least temporarily.
