This challenge is pretty simple. Read about a place (city, country, county...you get the idea) that starts with each letter of your name.

For example Teri could read the following
T- Texas: Welcome to Harmony by Jodi Thomas
E- England: Sackett's Land by Louis L'Amour
R- Rome: The Course of Honour by Lindsey Davis
I- Ireland: Trinity by Leon Uris

You can choose the places in advance or add them as you find them. For more of a challenge, find places for both your first and your last name. Enjoy!

Debra | 4 comments Do they have to be in order? Right now I'm reading a book that takes place in Los Angeles. L is in my last name. So if I was reading this in January could I use it?

They do not have to be in order. Fill in your spots as you find them throughout the year.

Well heck, my name is really short. I'm going to have to think of some way to add more places.

T-Texas: Clean Slate by JR Rain
E- England: To the Far Blue Mountains by Louis L'Amour
R-
I-Italy: Milk Glass Moon by Adriana Trigiani

Kathryn (an80slady6886) | 43 comments Use your full name or at least your middle name. Is Teri short for something?

Teri is short for Therese (which NO ONE calls me, not even my own mother!), but I was thinking that maybe I'll use the place where I live because it has some interesting letters. Hayang, South Korea.

Keep adding places all year for your 4 letters and see how many places you end up with for each letter by the end.
