I really like Twilight. The reason I like it is because I can see myself in the books. Most people like Twilight for that reason. No there are no vampires in the world. But you can imagine that there are and put yourself in that place. You can imagine yourself in the situation

I like it because ,like Christina, I like to picture my self inside the book. And people like Bella live a life I would like to live.

^^ I really LOVE twilight. I really got into the books (except New Moon- I found it quite boring) and since I love romance and action, the books really appealed to me. different people like different books, but I know that the books in the Twilight Saga were definitely the best books I've read.

Firstly, I love the books because Edward is the kind of guy I enjoy reading about in a romance. His love for Bella is absolute, he tells her how much he loves her, he is affectionate, his love is unwavering and eternal, he is willing to sacrifice for his beloved and he is always there to support her. He's the ultimate romantic fantasy character for the average heterosexual woman.

Second, the books addresses deep issues, like abortion, existence of God, saving sex for marriage, who has a soul, etc.

Third, her species are intriguing and just believable enough for me, while her plot line was interesting and unpredictable. Her characters where raw and relate-able, while the way some characters change from bad to excellent gives a refreshing fairy tale element.

Fourth, I first read Twilight when I was going through a hard time. Reading the book from Bella's perspective, I found it comforting to hear Edward's words of adoration and affection towards Bella.

It's somewhat hard to answer why I love these books. They are comforting to me somehow. I like a basic romance but these have just enough fantasy thrown in to keep it really interesting. Unlike a lot of girls, I don't love them for Edward or Jacob. I think both boys act like idiots sometimes. It's Bella who I really enjoy reading about. Her strength is very human and realistic. No, she doesn't go win the Hunger Games or defeat any dark lords or anything, but she is strong in her own ways. Many people look down at her, but I ask them, could you do any better in her shoes? I love Bella =]
