I like the Clambake series. Interesting choice in going with an A-Z approach.

I have read the first in the series & really enjoy it. My plan is to get further along in the series next year.

Donna (weegraydog) (weegraydog) | 677 comments Good luck--you have some interesting books there!

The Clambake series is one of my favorites! I just picked the newest one up yesterday!

Dawn Michelle | 255 comments Both of those are my TBR list with your second one coming up here shortly in my first set of cozies. I am really looking forward to that one.

I'm reading that one now and enjoying it. The info about Chopra, how he met Poppy and why he retires is background to the mystery probably because this is the first in the series. Really like the descriptions of life in India.

Was this part of the one offered by Audible? I SOOOOOOOO want that because Sherlock Holmes!! Stephen Fry!!! It is on my wish list and someday I will get it. So glad you loved it.

That is a bummer - I can get the whole thing with a credit from Audible, but there are others I need for my challenge this year, so I will have to wait until those are taken care of and then that is the first one bought. :-)

Betsy Bet Stephen Fry would be a great narrator!

Audible is an Amazon company for audiobooks. I too am on a book buying ban, but due to the eye issue, I am allowed a few extra audiobooks. Because I belong to Audible [which is $14.95 a month], I get one credit a month to use on ANY book in their catalog. The Stephen Fry version of Sherlock is V E R Y expensive, so that is the best way to get it. I cannot get it from the library or any other audiobook outlet. :-(

This sounds like an interesting series--I'll have to check my local library!

Sure doesn't sound like a cozy. ;)

message 17: by Betsy (new)

Betsy Cozy websites seem to be a little lax in what they consider a cozy. All in good fun though. Just bad if you are expecting something lighter.

Hope you are feeling better soon!
