Hey everyone! I just wanted to say I'm seriously enjoying this read-along with all of you. We're nearing halfway through our first month and I just wanted to see how everything was going.

Is everyone comfortable with the amount we're reading? Should we add more chapters each week and finish the books quicker? Should we decrease the amount or keep it about the same? If everyone's up to it, we could totally cut the read-along down and maybe even finish two books next month, because I know a lot of people are saying they finish the reading in a day haha, but ONLY if everyone agrees.I just want everyone to be comfortable with how much we read weekly and that no one is falling behind or bored with it haha.

How are the discussions going? Does everyone feel they can contribute equally? Are they as expected, or is there anything you'd like to change about them?

Also, I notice a pattern of the same few people partaking in the weekly discussions, even though it's only the second week. Does everyone feel comfortable expressing their own opinion? Is everyone too busy/forget to participate or is it that you aren't enjoying them? Is there anything specific you think we should add to it to make discussing the book more attractive to everyone? Selena and I have never partaken in a read-along, let alone be in charge of one, and this first month of Twilight is kind of like a trial for ALL of us, so we can really do whatever we want with it haha.

I'm such a freak when it comes to hosting things like this (lol) but this read-along isn't about me or anyone else hoarding the discussion boards, it isn't even about trying to spread Twilight-love (even though that would be a kick-ass side effect). It's really just about ALL of us talking about such an amazing series, noticing things we haven't in previous reads, or even just motivation to finish a series you never completed. I look forward to the beginning of every week just to start reading again and then talking about it with all of you, so I hope you guys are enjoying as much as I am and if you have any questions or concerns PLEAAASE let me know. All suggestions are welcome and any problems will be adressed. THANK Y'ALL LOVE YOUUU:) <3 x

Wow that was SUPER long I'm sorry lmao

Personally I'd love to go through it faster! Maybe just because I love it so much! Lol
I'm having so much fun and I'm so glad I've decided to partake in this! Selena and I hang out all the time and discuss all this stuff on a regular basis, but it's so much fun to see everyone else's input! Anyways I'm up for anything that we all decide. :)

Once again fellow mod you blow me away! You are way too modest! You are a kick ass admin! :)

I wouldn't mind going faster, although we'll just have to wait and see what everyone else thinks.

Hi Sierra!

I think maybe in a few days, I'll make a poll and message all the members to partake in it so that we can all have a chance to decide :) Thank you guys for your input!

Kelli (potterdancer) I wouldn't mind going faster, but I know that I start school up again early next month so my time may be more limited then.

going faster wouldn't be a problem really. but I'm in the same boat as Kelli with school and such and I'm sure others in the group are too. I'm personally enjoying reading the books at the pace we have because it allows everyone to finish at a good rate and it's a great way for us to gather our thoughts every week. lol I admit I do forget I input my feelings and thoughts into the discussions I think I just have so much to say I don't know where to begin but i will try harder to be active and I hope more people do too! a poll would be a good place to start to see if we're all comfortable with whatever changes can be made:)

I think I'm the only one with this opinion so far, but I personally like the pace we are at because it allows me to be active in the read along but still have time to have a "currently reading" book, since a lot of the reasons I don't participate in other read alongs is if the pace is too demanding and deprives me of the opportunity co-read my own book. I have a busy work schedule too, so even on a busier week (where I might not even have time to read my main book), the current 100 pages for the read along is manageable for me.

Ahh thank you all so much for your input!!!!

♥♥Mari♥♥ (twilightdreamlover) I'm late commenting here, but I'd like to concur with Red that the pace is perfect as it is now. I am currently reading a SUPER long fantasy novel, titled "Cephrael's Hand", that I will be reviewing for a blog tour on my book blog. Also, I got into this other book on my own...It's kinda off the wall, about UFOs and conspiracy theories. I will be finished with it very soon.

Meanwhile, I'm enjoying "New Moon", although I cried during the part where Edward was telling Bella that he and his family were leaving Forks, and he did NOT want her to come along..... It's incredible, the power these books have to stir my emotions, even though this is my FOURTH reading! (Except that I've read "Twilight" FIVE times already!!)

I can't wait for the "Twilight" liveshow later on today!!!!!! YAY!!!! : )

I'm the worst for never having a laptop with me so sorry this is a super late reply! I definitely wouldn't mind going a bit faster because I find it pretty difficult not to read quickly but with the pace we have now it's easier to analyse :D
