Where you familiar with the 1992 LA riots? Do you recall the situation being as chaotic for the LAPD as portrayed in this story?

I didn't read this book, but I lived through those riots. It was very chaotic. I had a friend who had a glass business in Inglewood and he and another friend sat on the roof for 3 nights with rifles to discourage the looters.
