I’ll be reading this, just need to get the big move done from Oz to UK then I can relax enough to get reading again.

I'm going to join you in the audio version. :)

I’m enjoying it too. The audio has been a good way for me to read whilst in transit.

Spoilers changed to 75%.
I’m at 62% at the moment and glad that the creatures are now out in the open. I’m sad at the demise of Lauren, I thought she was a great but underused character.
Now they’re holed up in the pantry, my one wish is that the dog makes it out alive but I fear he will be sacrificed doing a heroic deed.

And I love that dog!
I'm at 75% now and it's all happening.
At least they know the creatures can be killed but I think their plan of using the blood will not be a good one.
With just three of them left, four ? April but I think she's toast, I wonder if they will all make it out alive.

I’m finished but will wait a day or two before commenting in case any one else is still reading it.

Okay, I'm going comment as I think all those who were reading it are finished.
I certainly enjoyed it, I thought most of the characters were well done and that the story, although it's a trope that's been done a fair bit, didn't feel tired or boring especially the last half.
As much as I love a brutally realistic storyline I can't help feeling bummed that none of them got out alive (I'm going to assume that Jane lost the plot as soon as she knew she was going back into the belly of the beast). That made the story almost too dark but I do admire the author for doing it and I thought it was a nice twist.
What did everyone else think?

As for the ending, I thought that saving the twins for last was perfect, although I would have liked more "observation" of the final battle, and why Jane was not surrounded by those creatures when she was only in a sliver of sunlight....
The Shuddering has won the poll for our December group read.
Spoilers are at 25% as I was late getting it organised.
Enjoy.
