Laura (llpeace) | 30 comments This is my first time trying this challenge. Usually, I attempt challenges that ask for types of books rather than specific titles. It'll be interesting trying to hold myself to this. I have a jar in my bedroom that has papers with every book title I have downloaded to my Kindle but not read in it. I drew these titles from that jar. Here is my list of total randomness (I find it totally hilarious that out of the 300+ possibilities, I happened to randomly draw 2 Reagan titles.):

Hilary (A Wytch's Book Review) (knyttwytch) That sounds like a good idea, I may pinch it if you have no objections!

Oh and happy climbing :)

Laura (llpeace) | 30 comments No objections at all. I pinched it from Pinterest. Lol! Thanks!

message 4: by Natália (new)

Natália Lopes (silkcaramel) | 163 comments This is such a great idea! I may do this too for next year's challenge, it's a nice way to pick up books that are on the shelf or on Kindle for a long while.

message 5: by July (new)

July | 120 comments The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan: BLEW MY MIND! It changed the way I eat, feed my family and buy my food. I hope you enjoy it.

How could you have NEVER read Tiger Eyes by Judy Blume???? I've read it at least four times since we were 13 years old!

I'll be joining you on this peak after I conquer Mt. Blanc.

message 6: by Laura (new)

Laura (llpeace) | 30 comments I don't know how I managed to avoid reading it. Been on my reading list since high school. I'm adding some more books to my list. I might end up on the next peak. :0S

mary (mcagrimm) | 17 comments I second July on The Omnivore's Dilemma: great book. In fact, maybe I should reread it.

message 8: by Marlowe (new)

Marlowe (rotschoepfchen) Great idea with the jar! And hopefully you'll be successful on your journey!

message 9: by Martha (new)

Martha (marthais) | 18 comments I have a jar too! :) I'm drawing them one at a time though, otherwise I lose interest lol.

message 10: by Laura (new)

Laura (llpeace) | 30 comments I'm still drawing them one at a time, too. I'm alternating now between the jar and the list. I think I'm going to add the other titles as I read them to the bottom of the list.

message 11: by Laura (new)

Laura (llpeace) | 30 comments How do people in the group show progress? It won't let me edit my original post.

message 12: by Martha (new)

Martha (marthais) | 18 comments Are you on the app? You can’t edit posts with the app but you can on the desktop site. I edit my original post but I’ve also seen lots of people just post every time they finish a book

message 13: by Laura (new)

Laura (llpeace) | 30 comments I'm on the app, but have access to the desktop. Good to know. Thanks!

message 14: by Laura (new)

Laura (llpeace) | 30 comments I've added so many titles to this list that I could probably climb two other peaks if I read them all- and I seem to be reading from the middle out. Does anyone else do this?

message 15: by Laura (new)

Laura (llpeace) | 30 comments Looks like I'll be heading over to the next peak by the end of the month.

message 16: by Jessika (new)

Jessika (jessika_56) Woohoo, congrats!

Laura (llpeace) | 30 comments I've finished this peak, so I'm headed over to the next. Good luck, everyone!
