Nancy Drew question

parents would suggest for their tween daughters? I remember liking her at that timeframe but its been almost 40 years and my daughter isnt me and this isnt back then. In todays society kids have had access to the likes of Percy Jackson and Harry Potter. BUT... There are few if any true YA books surrounding girls as the protagonist...atleast ones where the girls are not active in an intimate matter. Frankly I really dont want those kinds of books for her at any age until shes able to understand the differences. PC Cast is a good writer ....my daughter is too young. I just cant see placing a book or series like that into her hands for years yet.
