Mireille | 4 comments I looked through the old posts and wondered... I aka huge Terry Pratchett fan, like some humour In books as well. Didn’t mind but also did not like the ‘Just a thing’ book.
What would you recommend as a must-read before 2018 begins?
Kind regards!

Milou | 100 comments I recently read Theatre of the Gods by M. Suddain. The humour in it was for me a lot like Terry Pratchett or Douglas Adams. I loved it. It is a bigger book, but well worth it.

Kings of the Wyld was pretty humorous and a genuinely fun read.

I really loved this book, it was very entertaining and I spent way t0o much money on getting the hardcover of it (even after the Nicholas, the author, told me not to).

Alan | 158 comments I would recommend the Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser books by Fritz Lieber. They're classic SFF, so a bit dated at times (and some stories are better than others), but they gave me a real Pratchett vibe. Pratchett apparently references them a few times in the Discworld books.
