This is going to be a re-read for me. I wanted to re-read it before the final book in this trilogy comes out.
I love love this series, I thinking of listening to them again to get ready for the last book in the trilogy!
I'm re-reading them for that particular reason Roxanne. I am so ready for the last book. I need to re-read these books so bad. I enjoyed them so much the first time around and they are exciting and page turning.

I plan to get around to reading these next week. I fly through them pretty quickly so these will probably be one sitting read through for me.

I read the first one on the kindle and didn't get the hype so i checked out the audiobook and thought it was fantastic. I listened to Gemina didn't bother reading it.

I loved the way the story is told. I think it is a unique way to tell it. Plus the way the words flow on the pages... literally flow on some of the pages. I just loved reading it for how the book looked. I mean I loved the storytelling.
I just bought this book as an ebook. I can't read it yet cause I haven't read Illuminae. But I will be reading it this year. I am excited for it.
Oh my god you need to read Illuminae! It's such a fast read. I think you'll enjoy it. Well I hope you will enjoy it. I LOVED THAT BOOK! I mean I gushed over it for days after reading it and of course I did the same thing with Gemina. I mean it was such a fun read to me. I did finish these in one sitting. I mean for me getting a book read in one sitting is a huge accomplishment for me. LIKE HUGE!

Don't do the ebook!!! the format is horrible for an ebook. Unless you read and liked Illuminae that way.

Too late. Ebook is what I bought and I will not be buying the physical copy unless I'm obsessed with it. Lol. It just gets too pricy for me.

I'm obsessed with it. That should be good enough. Although at this point there should be a paperback version out and it's not that pricey.

We shall see. Lol. If I end up loving it, I will bow down and get the hard back copy because my first edition is a hard back. But for now... I'll stick to what I have! I couldn't beat the $1.99 price tag!

I can get behind that but I just don't know if I could do that type of format on a ebook because the words are all over the place.

They are!
They are!
I really like this series. I finished this a few months ago. I’m so excited for the next one. I loved the other trilogy too.

I'm just sitting here doing a re-read even though I've got so many other books that I've got to get read.
I started this book today at work and I'm at the 20% mark. I'm not liking it. I miss Kady and Ezra and Aiden. And this book definitely has a book 2 feel. Probably gonna finish it tonight.
Almost 4 hours later and I finished
. You're right, Andrea. These books are very fast reads. Sadly I didn't like this one as much as I liked Illuminae. It was ok. I didn't dislike it. I did enjoy reading it. But I didn't think it left me as wow-ed as the ending of Illuminae left me. I loved Nik tho. And I was so glad to see Kady and Ezra and Aidan again. For a moment there, I didn't think they were going to make an appearance in the book. I didn't like Hanna or Ella as much as I liked Kady tho. I actually did really like Kady.

Like Roxanne I listened to these and the way they were done was excellent. I listen to a ton of audiobooks so if you don’t listen to many this is one I would recommend.
Leela I agree with you that Gemina wasn’t as good as Illuminae but it was still pretty good. I think the interactions with AIden were really good in it.
I’m excited to see what they come up with in Obsidio and see how they bring it all together.

You're making me wish I would have just listened to them instead. I over all did enjoy these books. I just think they both had serious issues.

Summary:
Moving to a space station at the edge of the galaxy was always going to be the death of Hanna’s social life. Nobody said it might actually get her killed.
The sci-fi saga that began with the breakout bestseller Illuminae continues on board the Jump Station Heimdall, where two new characters will confront the next wave of the BeiTech assault.
Hanna is the station captain’s pampered daughter; Nik the reluctant member of a notorious crime family. But while the pair are struggling with the realities of life aboard the galaxy’s most boring space station, little do they know that Kady Grant and the Hypatia are headed right toward Heimdall, carrying news of the Kerenza invasion.
When an elite BeiTech strike team invades the station, Hanna and Nik are thrown together to defend their home. But alien predators are picking off the station residents one by one, and a malfunction in the station’s wormhole means the space-time continuum might be ripped in two before dinner. Soon Hanna and Nik aren’t just fighting for their own survival; the fate of everyone on the Hypatia—and possibly the known universe—is in their hands.
But relax. They’ve totally got this. They hope.
I hope you will join us for this month's book! Tell us if you enjoyed it or not!
