The lists I've looked at show The Crossing as the next book in the series. It's also on the Harry Bosch list. Maybe Mickey just makes an appearance in it.
It’s not showing up under Mickey Haller here on GR. Connelly recently changed his website, specifically the series listings. Let me check because The Crossing is only showing up here as HB but the blurb definitely has Mickey in the story.
He’s not listing it as a book in this series.
Just went through a whole discussion about this with Connelly’s publisher. Connelly wants the books to show up only in one or the other series, no matter if both appear substantively. In those instances, he’s chosen which character has the most prominent voice. He actually removed The Brass Verdict and The Reversal from the HB series list!
This is another reason for the HB Universe series listing.

I guess I can say that I'm "caught up" on Mickey Haller. Yay!!! I'm looking forward to more in that series.
I categorized it as complete. It’s been four years and between Bosch books and the TV series and a brand new series, I don’t think we’ll see another Haller story outside of the Bosch books. Connelly just doesn’t want to admit it.
They’ve wrapped filming of Season 4 and I know they want a 5th one.

That's fine with me. I decided to be finished with this book. I was in love with the Lincoln Lawyer because I love Matthew McConaughey.
Still love me some Michael Connelly!

As much as I've liked this series, I'm also frustrated at the direction Connelly's taken with Mickey's personal life and the ups and downs of his professional life. He's high profile and good enough that he shouldn't always find himself strapped for clients.
I like that he's showing up in Bosch's stories. Maybe that's best.
