Are you ready for The Ghost Had an Early Check-Out? Because it's time to kick off our pre-party for that launch!

We're (tentatively!) expecting the book coming out early January. And we need everyone's help with the party preparations. This is how you can help us: For the next few days here in this topic post words which you connect/relate with Nick and Perry and their story. Feel free to post as many words as you like! Using those words we'll make you a word search game later on during the launch party. How does that sound?
:-)

Oh, and obviously there'll be also tons of other games, wonderful prizes and the usual (LOL) goofing around! See you here soon! Can't wait to see the words you've posted. ;-)

Calathea | 6034 comments Hey! *waves*
Thank you for setting up the party topic, dear Johanna! I'm looking forward to Nick and Perry's upcoming adventures and must say, that cover looks very athmospheric.

As for a word related to Nick and Perry, I'll go with: marshmallows

Elena | 662 comments I agree with Calathea, I love that cover!
My "word" is actually two, but they go together, so... hot chocolate. ;)
Are we allowed to post words more than one time or is it a one-person-one-word kind of thing?
Because I've at least another one in mind. :D

Lori S. (fuzzipueo) | 186 comments What a lovely, fun, idea.
Hmmm a word.... 'starlet' comes to mind. Actually a number of words come to mind.

Yes, please, feel free to post more words! :-)

We'll start the "real" party when the book is published.

Yes! Feel free to post more words. (I added the sentence: "Feel free to post as many words as you like!" in my first post. So, thank you for asking, Elena.)

Now, what can we do next to pass some time...?

message 34: by Calathea (new) - added it

Calathea | 6034 comments Image and video hosting by TinyPic Here's another pre-party game to keep busy while we're waiting for The Ghost Had an Early Check-Out.

The title of the upcoming book kind of set up a pattern. Soooo... make up some more book titles! What funny, absurd, hilarious, mysterious, giggle-inducing book titles can you come up with that would add to the series?

How about 'The Ghost Stumbled on a Lilac Frock' or 'The Ghost Changed Numbers' or 'The Ghost Drove the Teal Duck'.

Post as many book titles with 'The Ghost...' as you like. Bonus points if you manage to include a colour. ;-)
