Which books won the last round?

The winners for Fall 2017 were:

1st place: The Dry by Jane Harper

2nd place: The Girl Before by Rena Olsen

3rd place: I Liked My Life by Abby Fabiaschi

Of those three, "I Liked My Life" was my favorite.

I didn't get a chance to read that one, but I did hear good things about it!

My main issue with The Dry was that one of the mysteries was revealed by the author, not discovered by the characters.

I've been wanting to read Chilbury Ladies' Choir all year! I am excited to check it out.

I've already read a few of these

Two were 4 stars:

The Bear and the Nightingale - the second book in this trilogy was 5 stars....I loved it

The Bird and the Sword - age appropriate and the audio was well done.

Then 4 of them were 3 stars.

I'll have to fit some of these others into my list this spring. Some of them look like they are right up my alley.

I loved Chilburys Ladies' Choir! It was so much in one book, historical fiction, humor, romance, mystery, tragedy... it was unforgettable.

I read The Last Days of Cafe Leila and really liked it.

Wow, I'm surprised that The Chilbury Ladies' Choir didn't make it in the top three. I gave it 5 stars and I know a few other ladies gave it 5 stars as well.

I gave it 3. I gave four stars to The Bird and the Sword and Six Wakes; those were my two favorites of this round.
