White Wings by Aimee Jessica Russ is a very similar read to 'Fallen' - which I have also read. I love the first book of Fallen but I feel the rest of the series falls. I prefer the much lesser known 'white wings'.

The first thought I had before reading this is the cover is awesome hahaha.

Let see. Angelfire and Coutney Allison Moulton is quite similar. Ellie always die and revived and Will is her guardian. I love them too.

Nope. I hadn't read her other books yet.

All I'll say is I absolutely loved it 😊

I'm up to Chapter 5.

(view spoiler)[ That was the most stereotypical love interest introduction ever. Right down to the adjectives used to describe him. Hopefully this deviates a bit from the stereotypes, otherwise this might be difficult to get through. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I get the feeling that all the students at this school may be fallen angels, hence the paper listing the dates they arrived, and explaining why several new students would join midway through the year. They may all be reliving past lives, leading to Luce's deja vu.

Is this love triangle irritating you guys too? I feel like this could be really good, but the triangle drags it down. Especially because both sides were insta-love, and there's no chemistry between any of them. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ The plot finally picked up, and when it did, it was interesting. I wish we had gotten less teenage angst, and more plot, but I guess the book was still enjoyable. This book had a ton of plot holes and questions, but hopefully those will be filled in the next book. I really hated the romance because Daniel had no personality. I think part of th problem is that I'm not a fan of the whole start crossed livers idea. I was really sad that Penn died, and Sophia's betrayal did surprise me. (hide spoiler)]

Yah, that was my main problem with it. It took forever to get moving, and then it was over in like forty pages. I really wish some of the pining over Daniel could've been cut
