I hope to read 61 books this year. Try to participate more within the Goodread groups.

I don't make New Year's resolutions. And I don't concentrate on number of pages or books because it's about quality not quantity. I would rather benefit from fifty pages a year than race through some 'impressive number' to achieve a number goal.
My only reading resolution is to get my F2F book club selections read a month in advance!
I don't count pages or set goals for number of books, either, ilikeboox. I just read.

Not even a little bit! LOL My kids are both very artistic. My oldest loves cosplay and is in her 4th year of art class in high school.

I want to see THE POST starring Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks.
I also saw a trailer for a movie with Donald Sutherland and Helen Mirren ... I think it was titled The Leisure Seekers or something like that (Darn if I can find my notes that I jotted on some random piece of paper .. in the dark, in the theater)

Not if you are referring to painting / drawing / sculpting.

I have food allergies to these and more
Leah wrote: "Friday, January 5: Is there a food you've never tried and have absolutely no desire to?"
I'll eat anything that isn't moving too fast ... at least once.
But there are two foods I absolutely can't stand -
Macaroni & Cheese
Peanut Butter and Jelly

200 books, 40000 pages, no reading slumps

Not really

Yes. I knit a little. I do counted cross-stitch and I paint.

Most Asian foods. They just don't sound good and the pictures don't look good.

Sushi.
Sunday, January 7: How often do you buy groceries?
Hubby and I have developed a habit of going to the store every day and buying just what we need for that day's meals. Obviously, there are some things we buy in larger quantities (staples like flour, sugar, spices, coffee), but we mostly shop the "outside" of the store - produce, dairy, meats, seafood.

About once a week for all our meal items. A couple more times a week for all the things I forget we need or change of plans in meals.

I try to go once a week, but sometimes have to stop midweek for something my kids forgot they needed.

I worked at a daycare when I was in high school. It was perfect. Worked 3pm-6pm Monday thru Friday, no weekends.
