Ticket to Read Book Challenge 2018 discussion

This apocalyptic book is a road trip of an entirely different sort and it was my favorite book of 2017. Asteroids (or something?!?) hit the northern hemisphere and a crappy but loving husband and father is separated from his family. He and a troop of misfits, literally run from Edinburgh to SW England in an effort to reunite him with his family. Sort like The Road, but less far less bleak.
