Did you think Sarah’s recognition of Alicia at the Higgins’ boardinghouse might have contributed to her being murdered?

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 694 comments Honestly, that possibility never occurred to me...even though it's totally plausible.

I'm always looking for an angle and it's the first thing I thought of...that someone was scared that she'd been discovered.

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments I didn't think of that possibility. I was just wondering why Alicia started screaming. Was it because Mrs. Higgins was giving birth and she realized that is what she would have to go through? Or did she recognize Sarah and realize that someone now knew her hiding place.

I thought it was because of Mrs. Higgins giving birth. She was screaming before Sarah recognized her, though she had a reaction to that, too.

It never occurred to me either, but it makes sense in hindsight that Sarah's recognition might have been a catalyst.

That also didn't occur to me, but looking back, it makes total sense.

Christina T (crysteena73) | 180 comments I never had this thought either but I can see how that could have played out. I wasn't sure what to make of Alicia's reaction or even why Sarah thought she was Mina until things started taking off after the murder.
