What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

All I remember was I read it in the year 2008 or 2009, the Protagonist called the reader big eyes, his nickname was Blade I think. He finds a dying lady with a baby, he lived on the streets and had stashes of money and jewels over the city. A group of girls are after him and the baby but he doesn't want to get involved with them so I think he gives the baby up. It was a long time ago when I read the book, so I might have messed up some of the details a bit or a lot.
