What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

My mom suggested a book she read a long time ago but has forgotten what it was called. All she told me was it was about a man that could travel back in time to the 1800’s through the lobby of a New York City hotel that he was staying at in present time. My mom says it was a great book and I enjoy books traveling back in time. Help!! (Or any other book suggestions)

Katie, around what year did your mom read this book? A range of years is fine. I find "a long time ago" means different things in this large group. This can help narrow down the search.

This is definitely Time and Again or its sequel.
