Donovan | 4 comments Trying to find a book that i'm pretty sure was on amazon kindle unlimited.
From what i can remember The discription said something about his brother went into some type of dungeon thing and never came out. In the book I think everyone goes in the dungeon at a certain age to get some kind of mark and i think he got the mark by drinking some type of water. I think he got like the lowest one which was a enchanter. Well when he was in the dungeon he found someone dead i think and he found keys. So he goes into another room and he find people trapped in some magical cage. there was a guy in one and a girl and a young boy and he is Unconscious in another. and once you unlock one the other explodes so he unlocked the one with the girl and and boy and the man some how gets out without dying. Later on they met some god or guard of the dungeon and there is more dungeons spread out around the world with the gods or guards. That god or whatever wants to kill the kid or something but the guy he saved somehow fends off the god and the girl and mc runs off with the kid still Unconscious. I think the girl waits to the dungeon to change because the dungeon changes every so often in think so she tells the mc to stay while she has a knife i think. Later when he gets he is about to get his mark he finds a sword i think. Also i think there is some type of disembodied talking to him and talks to him later on in the book. Also when he gets his mark he goes to some type of school the kids that get marked. and that's all i could remember and i'm pretty sure this was in the beginning of the book. Also i think i read it about a year or two ago but i cant remember the title.

Sufficiently Advanced Magic by Andrew Rowe?

This comment by a Goodreads reviewer might help to identify or eliminate this book: "The magic system is unique (which you may know is hard to accomplish). I like how each mark can allow a person to do different things, but that there is overlap between them in the "magic types" they can use (wind, transference, etc.) and how people with different marks can still work together on certain things, so everyone isn't isolated working with only the people who have the same mark they do. I love that each of the different countries/kingdoms have different towers that give you different marks."
