What was your favorite thing that Maxon did for America throughout the first three books?

Brenna I just want to hear some of your thoughts.

Quill&Queer I quite liked the part where he pushed her up against his wall of pictures to be honest....

But seriously, when he sent those desserts home for her sister as part of the bet and even when America lost the bet he gave her pants anyway. I really started to love him after that.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood I agree with Vee. Those are the top things that come to mind as well when I saw the topic of this.

I agree...

Sylvia-Alexandra I like how at the very end, he risked his life for America. It proved to everyone, especially to America, how much he loves her and that he would die for her. I cried so many times during that book!

Natalie One of the biggest things for me was when he made the program to feed the lower castes because of her. I know this wasn't for her necessarily, but still. Another huge one is when he takes being caned over her being punished in any kind of way.

Yes! Even though she'd gone behind his back, refused to tell him she loved him, lost her temper, and so on, he didn't care--he loved her. He didn't simply have feelings for her; he LOVED her and would do anything, even if it cost him his life.

Faith Marshall I was shocked and deeply touched at the end of The Elite when it was revealed that he'd been beaten by his father. I know him risking his life and getting shot at the end of The One is technically bigger, but being beaten? That's one sting, or burn, or sear, or *beyond* after another, after another, after another--torture for what feels like eternity. Not to mention, in the same scenario, he'd stood up not to bad guys but to his father, someone he loved but whose choices he did not respect. I was brokenhearted, but again, just so touched.

Hannah This line describe the reason why I love Mason !!

“Maxon, some of those marks are on your back so they wouldn’t be on mine, and I love you for them.”
