Silvia (silviaceravolo) | 258 comments Just downloaded this book and found the record needs help.

1. Cover missing
2. Narrator missing
3. Audiobook listed as library binding
4. If you want to add #parts as pages, there are 8

The publisher cover image sucks, I used the one from the CD from Amazon, which is identical.

or

Thanks.

Philip (burnnerman) | 5912 comments Please provide the ISBN on request like this, because the edition you link to states Library Binding, which make me wonder if the there was a physical edition released with that ISBN at one point in time.

Also cannot find that ISBN on Tantor's website or on Amazon, so I cannot use either of those covers.

Silvia (silviaceravolo) | 258 comments The ISBN is in the GR record that I'm requesting, I thought that was supposed to be sufficient.

Recorded Books is the commercial publishing partner of Tantor, and the RB entry shows they are publishing the Tantor book. I don't know why Tantor doesn't have ISBN's associated with their books; maybe they figure only commercial buyers care. https://www.recordedbooks.com/About/O...

I sent an email to Tantor asking them about ISBN's, just for the fun of it. We'll see what they say.

Philip (burnnerman) | 5912 comments The reason you need to provide ISBN, is because the edition linked to in the subject of the thread is not always the one you are looking for us to work on.

Silvia (silviaceravolo) | 258 comments But it's supposed to be, right? I always paste the ISBN into the subject line and then choose the book that pops up. Sorry, you're the first librarian who's asked me for the ISBN!

Abcdarian | 26579 comments Found narrator, format & length on worldcat: http://www.worldcat.org/title/to-buil... but no cover.

Edit: Found the cover on a library site. https://ecat.overdrive.com/media/B7F3...

Silvia (silviaceravolo) | 258 comments Thanks.

It's tough when you buy an audiobook from Tantor because there is no ISBN and you have to go to the RecordedBooks website to get the info. I don't know what's wrong with Tantor, do they think their readers can't deal with ISBN's?

But librarians have no way to know if you searched by ISBN, title, or author. So supplying the ISBN as text as well is helpful.
