Eric Scott | 29 comments I'm new to goodreads.com and I'm still trying to get my bearings. I've engaged with some great people, and 2 not so great maybe, on this and one other community page for avid readers. The other site is easy to post to, start a new discussion on, or chime into.
I can't figure out how to post my reading plan on the template for this site, and the only two people I reached out to in the group who were open to sharing with me don't know either. Can someone please generate something that tells me how to get the list uploaded so I can plug in my books, or are we supposed to set it up from scratch? Many thanks.

Hope (hopeinbrazil) Hi Eric, I'm pretty low tech, but I'll tell you what I did. I cut and pasted the list from "52 Topics" list that Aline set up (under Welcome Center) and put it into a Word document. From there I added the titles I intend to read. Then I cut and pasted the modified document and put it under the tab "2018 Reading Plans." Aline mentioned to another member that if you start to type a title into your post, the link comes up. I have not tried that.

Eric Scott | 29 comments Thanks Hope. Since it isn't a template, I'll probably just list my books and add new titles as I commit. Your information was what I was looking for. I too have ordered "Earthen Vessels" and hope to catch up with you and Renee after I finish "A Hunger for God". I'll finish the latter and pick up the former next week. Best regards.

Hello Eric! If you go to The 52 Topics for the "Intentional" Christian Reading Challenge, it lists the 52 topics. Highlight that list with the left click of your mouse. Then right mouse click and "copy". Then click on the bold header 2018 Reading Plans. At the top right you will see "new topic". Click on that. The window that opens up will show Topic. You can put the title of your list there. (ex. Eric's 2018 reading list). Make sure the dropdown window shows 2018 Reading Plans and not 2017. That way, it will go in the right folder. In the comment box, right mouse click and select "paste" to paste the 52 categories you copied. Scroll down to the category you want to list a specific book. Put your cursor at the end of that category description. Then, at the top (outside) of the comment book it says "add book/author". If you click on that, a box will open up. You will want to add a reference by book, so highlight book. Then, type the title of the book you want and hit search. When you see the book you want, click Add. It might look funny in your comment box, but when you click Post of your comment, it should create a link to the book you want. The link helps others looking at your list go directly to that book by clicking on your underlined link. I do hope this helps. If you have any issues, please just ask. Glad to have you here!

Hey, I did not know that you did not know how to post your list. I would surely have helped you! Hopefully, the directions above will help. If not, let me know and I can screenshot some steps for you!
