Ticket to Read Book Challenge 2018 discussion

The protagonists in this book, Will Robie and Jessica Reel, can single-handedly repel an Isis attack, a kidnapping by skinheads, and fight their way out of a missile bunker. The remarkable way they face danger head on and find a way to triumph reminds me of a modern-day James Bond story. And this duo would break the mold of the sexist Bond of Ian Fleming's imagination and create a strong woman character to stand right alongside (and occasionally lead the way). I could see this as a movie of this type, and since the author has created a series around these characters, it could easily rival the longevity of Bond.
