Blagica | 12941 comments A book is a dream that you hold in your hand. I hope that April brings you many more five star reads. Do you have a stand out book so far this year?

message 15: by Robin (new)

Robin (rretzler) | 94 comments Working on 1Q84. While I'm enjoying it, it is not a book that for some reason I can sit and read for long periods at a time, so its very slow going at 1,332 pages

Robin (rretzler) | 94 comments July books completed - 6:

86. The Flowers of Vashnoi by Lois McMaster Bujold
87. Captain Vorpatril's Alliance by Lois McMaster Bujold
88. Death and Judgment by Donna Leon
89. Number Six: Spay With Me by Colin Cotterill
90. Lucky Jim by Kingsley Amis
91. Ship of Magic by Robin Hobb

Another not so great month reading-wise! The books were good, but I didn't get much reading time in.

Thanks so much! It's been a tough summer. My "unofficial" goal is 175, but I don't know if I'm going to make it this year.

Susy (susysstories) Well to me 100 is already soooo impressive! Most important is that you’re enjoying your reads! :)

Robin (rretzler) | 94 comments Just want to say how much I enjoyed The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton. I love Golden Age mysteries and Science Fiction and this was a mixture of both, which is very rare. I understand the author is working on a new book to be released in 2020 - I can't wait!
