Charlene VdK | 2 comments It was a hardcover book made in either the 70's or 80's and was about a family moving to a different city. It centered on the girl and how hard it was on her. I remember her making a fort out of all the moving boxes. Then they went for a drive at Christmas time but their car got stuck in the snow and they had to get rescued.
*edit - I believe it was meant to be a kids book and possibly Christian based if that helps.

Tab (tabbrown) | 5084 comments Do you remember the cover?
Part of a series?
Do you remember the time period/location the story takes place?

Did the girl have siblings, friends, other relatives mentioned in the book?

Charlene VdK | 2 comments I vaguely remember the cover and would know it if I saw it but am unable to describe it. Definitely not Amy moves in. I looked at that one already. No siblings, just her and her parents. Don't remember any pets. Time period was based on the time the book was written so 70's or 80's. Yes to relatives as that's who she was visiting when she got stuck in the snowstorm with her parents in the car.
