For those of you that are looking to collaborate with other members or simply want to bounce ideas off each other please feel free to do so below. If you have characters free or you want to help build a story line for them just leave a post here and someone should be able to help out. Coolio! Thx guys. I mean I was kinda planning on murdering the child one when I was going to make them without them being a family but it might be even more sad now.

Why is the first thing we go to killing off the little kids?

Oh no I wasn't planning on killing him off straight away. Oh no I was going to let people get attached before a murder him it's more fun that way. I swear i'm sane I was thinking of giving him a leg wound that kinda preventing movement so they have to carry him places and without antibiotics and proper treatment it get's infected and all that fun slow sad death. It would also emotionally break my medic boy I'm planning on making cause he failed at saving the kid. It's all a fun little drama.

Geez... this is going to be super hard hitting. I'm terrible at fatherly figures though so either do we want the father to die, or just be lost and they're always trying to find him? Xwft, this child though... I feel so bad already!!! So much drama! My character is probably gonna hate your medic guy also, so more family issues!

Hmmm. We could have them hunting for him cause that would be real sad. Cause the child, Thomas as I decided to call him, would just want his father. Then they would promise that he will see him again saying and then when he doesn't it would be even more sad.
No don't hate my lil Rafi boy he just wants everyone to be happy! This will emotionally scar everyone by the sounds of it.

Alright, 3 things
-One: Should we move to the family collab section?
-Two: NO ONE IS HAPPY!!! My character is going to probably hate him for the rest of his life, he's a sensitive little 12 year old
-Three: So uh... I was just looking through some of the threads... and uh, I made a character exactly like the one you were thinking of making... I didn't mean to!!! It's a coincidence I promise. I feel guilty... even though it's just a fluke because great minds think alike. BUT, I was thinking after I read your question that if you do make a character like that, maybe they could team up? You know, become a thieving, lying little band.

well we have four people and two islands to work with so logic says two on each. And I would quite like Tommy on the main one cause that's where my medic boy is. I'm kinda thinking it would be better to just to keep them all on the same island cause then we have the full Drama of Alyssa trying to organise the two younger ones and deal with the freaking out mum. While the youngest is dying and the middle is trying to be brave while really freaking out or something. Plus they would likely get seats quite close to each other so it would be harder for them to end op on different islands. However if we were going to split them up I think the two youngest on the main island so Tommy and Max's kid. And then my older girl Alyssa and the mum on the second. There for the middle will have to deal with the dying youngest and having no idea what to do while the oldest is trying to help the mum while trying to figure out a way to get to the main island to be with the brother and middle child.

What if they are all together except for the father then? That way they don’t know if he is dead or on another island??

I'd be interested in getting involved with this, happy to play the father for you guys?

Wondered could I great a step-sibling so she's from her father's first marriage, 19 years old and ends up on the island with the mum and other children that she's never felt particularly close to?

Yeah I wouldn't mind! Alyssa might not like her very much and I can already see the drama unfolding around that. I think we were going to have the dad missing for Drama sake but maybe if they do find him you could play him. Or I don't mind changing his status to alive if others don't.

Yeah I can put him on the other island so he's separated from them all, presumed dead?

I can see she probably wouldn't get on with most of her siblings and there'd be quite a lot of tension between her and the mother

So like let me clear our thoughts:
-Me= Mother
-Xwift= 2 kids?? (or was it one kid + healer)
-Max= one kid
-Elle= Step kid + father

Tommy will love her! But he loves everyone. Cause other then her Alyssa is the oldest and she will try take charge and she wont want the stepsister she doesn't get along with getting in the way of her injured brother.

Two kids. Alssya 17 and Tommy 6. My healer is a different boy <3

I'm leaning towards Tashi Rodriguez for the step-sister and liking the name Emmy, I'm thinking she will have only been a part of the family for the last three years following the death of her mother? So she'll have a different surname and will have come to live with them more recently. I imagine the mother tries really hard with Emmy but she doesn't reciprocate, she sees this other woman as trying to replace her mum and doesn't like that? Their relationship is probably quite frosty and they don't get to spend a lot of time together anyway because Emmy is away at college most of the time? Maybe this was a holiday to try and bring them all together?

I'm thinking maybe Timothy Olyphant or Ewan Mcgreggor for the dad?

Oh yeah both of those seems fine. I don't really have any thoughts of face claim for my beans. I'm kinda new to the whole face claim business I would discribe loss more then face claim cause I could never get a claim that looked right. So I don't really have any thoughts.

Oh yeah and Alyssa might try make friends but cause Emmy is older and is like being a brat and pushing Alyssas mum away Alyssa a will get quite annoyed quite fast. Especially if Emmy being a jerk to Alyssas siblings. And I feel it would be a sore subject there dad having a child with someone else only a few years for Aylssa herself was born. So I feel in order to protect her siblings and herself once learning Emmy wants nothing to do with them Alyssas would shove her away and be quite a brat especially if they went to the same school. Tommy he doesn't care he would be like the only one the Emmy slightly likes cause he's the most innocent bean. His thinking Is literally: Human in my house.... WE WILL BE FRIENDS FOREVER!!!! then will offer them a singular cookie thinking that is what will make them happy. And despite both Aylssa and Emmy trying to stop it he will cling to Emmy cause he's such a bean he doesn't realise she wants nothing to do with him. He just wants to be loved by everyone and die everyone too be happy.

Ewen kinda like more life a cool father to me but again I ain't great with face claims so it depends what others think.

Anyone want to make a young nephew for my character Adrian?

Adrian's brother and sister-in-law lived in Australia but were tragically killed in a road accident. So my character travelled to Aus on his own in order to attend the funeral and adopt his nephew whom he was intending to take back to live with him and his family Mexico. Both of them land on Island 1 when the flight crashes on the way back. Adrian's sole focus post crash is going to be his nephew but he'll also be frantically trying to get them off the island so he can get back to his wife and daughter. Any takers?

What ethnicity are we thinking? Tashi is puerto rican, but as she's only related to this via her dad we can probably choose anything, right? I've got a couple of fcs in mind, but happy to find others?

So let me get this straigh i'm just a little confused

My character: Jonah (11 year old son)
Xwft: Tommy (6 year old son), Alyssa (17 year old daughter)
Jamilah: Mother
Elle: Father and Emmy (19 year old step-sister to Jonah, Tommy and Alyssa)

Jonah is going to be a little encyclopedia. He's an avid National Geographic watcher and knows just about everything about everything. He's usually a very up beat and kind, but he probably won't like Emmy because he thinks she's being selfish by not reciprocating their family love. He's gonna constantly be reeling off survival tips he learned from books and tv shows. He feels like no one takes him seriously enough and that he should be given more responsibility. I don't have a faceclaim for him yet though.

Honestly I can work with either, maybe we can look at face claims and see if anything sticks?

But yeah if you don’t have enough time or you would rather commit to other characters don’t worry! I think we should focus on the family characters for now anyway :) we can always come back to this. That and Zwink still has the claim so need to double check they’re not coming back!! xD

Helloooooo guys as of right now, i am just using my character Elena. She's a single mom of an 8 year old boy and she's also pregnant now so i'm thinking some potential collabs could be the obvious - the baby daddy and if anyone is interested, maybe the 8 year old son? besides that, she's definitely going to be a major player on the second island so a lot of people are likely to be attracted to her and wanna follow her ideas. i'm also open to anything else!!

Also whats the deal with islands? Do we know if they're going to be seperated or have we not figured that out yet? I think it could be fun if they were seperated for a while, build the desperation y'know?

We were going to have all but the dad on the same island to contain things a lil bit. However I did suggest having Alyssa and the mum on one island and then Tommy and Jonah on the other, the dad being missing completely made landed in another part of the island for a bit and Emmy with either of them.
