HELLO! The book for this month of February is Code Name Verity, by Elizabeth Wein. It's a historical fiction book based in WWII, and by the reviews I've seen of it, it is excellent. The novel is about a spy captured by the Nazis, and she has to tell them everything she knows to avoid torture.
I know that I am late and that I should have started this group earlier in the month, but I was procrastinating on homework so... This baby was born. Feel free to give your thoughts on the book as you are reading it, adding the page you're on. Be careful not to give spoilers, refer to rule #4.

Here's what I thought about this book:
I liked it, and I definitely plan to continue on with the series, but I didn't think that it was amazing. It was way too slow for me and I felt like the events were distant, like we weren't invested into the action. For me, it feels like an introduction to the rest of the series, which I think will be much better.
